The Results!

We are DONE and the results are GLOWING! Mom peeled exactly 3 days into the Vi Peel and was done around DAYS 6-7. Her skin is absolutely glowing and soft and smooth. Her pores have been reduced to NOTHING!

Vi Peel: Day 6

Today I can finally say I am almost there! My skin still feels dry and scaly, but I have done about 3-4 GOOD peeling cycles and I suspect there's one more small one around the corner for me. The skin underneath is smooth and soft and starting glow and lose most of the new pink tone. My mom reports close to the same....she is definitely still peeling applying the lotion throughout the day. I have a feeling that tomorrow our skin will be exactly where we want it! And will be able to put on makeup if I so choose!

Vi Peel: Days 4 & 5

Our skin is TIGHT to say the least! My face felt like it was going to crack all weekend...which tells me that I'm getting a fabulous treatment. There has been no pain whatsoever. However, you do have to deal with the feeling of dry skin for a several days. The after care kit contains a moisturizing lavender lotion that soothes the skin. Mom and I appear to be a little swollen, but it is hardly noticeable!

Day 3: Peel Baby Peel!

Vi Peel: Day 3

Last night I went to bed and decided to do another post peel application (the Retin-A and Vitamin C wipe). I also decided to save it and do another application this morning. Yowser! It's tight and peeling! I had put part of the peel on my neck. So last night going to bed, my neck was itching and driving me crazy! The moisturizer with lavender that the Vi peel after kit includes did wonders to help calm it down and help me sleep.

Woke up this morning to TIGHT!!! Peeling! I love it!! And the skin underneath is GORGEOUS!!! New baby skin with NO pores. The pictures will be posted throughout the day today to show you the peeling process. A lot of the skin gently rolls off in the shower with warm water and steam. I am excited to continue to see the progress today and tomorrow!

I will say that makeup today is a MISTAKE. The skin is fresh and vibrant and is easy to hide the peeling with moisturizer after the shower. The makeup actually accentuates the peeling and unevenness. My mom is doing great! She is tight and just starting to peel!

Several of you have mentioned wanting to see close-ups of our faces and eyes, before and afters. We did take those pictures and I'm waiting for the after shots before I post extreme close ups of myself on the Internet!

Vi Peel: Day 2

Day 2 has been Easy! I have to report that mom and I both left the peel on overnight. We met at the gym and worked out this morning. We were a little pink but not bad. Our skin was tight, but we felt no pain! Mom kept saying that she looked old...she could see the top layer of skin starting to get tight and wrinkly before it peeled. I just look like I have a shiny pink glow. So far...I love the Vi Peel! After showers, we applied the first post peel application pad with Retin-A and Vitamin C. It barely burned but definitely turned my face red for an hour or so. After that it calmed down. I put on my tinted moisturizer and came into work. You really couldn't tell that I had had a peel done at this point. Mom said the post peel pad ruined her manicure...note to you...wear gloves if you get your nails done! All in all, these pictures were taken this afternoon several hours after applying the post peel application pad. We have another peel pad to apply....I think I will go ahead and do it tonight and speed this process along. I expect to see peeling by late tomorrow. On a side note: Check out my eyelashes in this picture.....AMAZING...I didn't have eyelashes before starting Latisse! I love my eyelashes!

Peel and Reveal a NEW You....

This morning I woke up and knew I was ready to do my Vi peel this afternoon! I was excited....anticipating a fresher look for January! But I came to the realization that it's always more fun to peel with a friend...and what better friend to peel with than my mom, Tricia. I called her up and pitched her my idea. So this week at New Visage, my mom and I are not only peeling together but we are documenting with pictures and blog posts each day so you can see the downtime and results!
